Hello and welcome! I’m Ashlea and I was diagnosed with a grade 1 anterior and posterior prolapse following childbirth.

As a result, I have created this blog to document my own journey and experiences and to share them with other women to assure them that they are not alone.

It’s snowing! ❄️ Sometimes I find that I consume myself in my own world trying to find solutions to my prolapse that I fail to notice everything going on around me! So this is me being present in the moment and enjoying time well spent with my daughter!

As I continue with my journey, I have read a lot about the importance of gut health and have witnessed first hand how eating healthy and having a good amount of fibre in your diet can improve symptoms of a prolapse

Over the last few days, I’ve been reading non-stop about how the body and mind are connected. And I’ve come to learn that healing oneself can’t be achieved by just doing one thing. It is a complete lifestyle and mindset change...

Enjoyed a quick walk with baby in the carrier today! She prefers this over the pram, as she can look out and explore the world! I would have her in the buggy, but she’s not quite old enough yet!

To kegal or not to kegal? That really is the question...
